The World is One.. :o
School is about to start, and I don’t know if I should feel happy about it or not. Summer break wasn’t anything special except for the fact that we went on a vacation to HongKong. -_- Oh, and uhhh, I’m not going to start to express how excited I am for the school year because everyone else seems to be posting about it. Go away if you were anticipating that. *huff*
All of my siblings have Multiply accounts. One night they even tried to convince me to get an account for myself too. I think Multiply is just so overrated. *gets hit by Multiply users*
Vanity is overrated as well. *gets hit by vain people* Okay, I may take pictures of myself from time to time, but I’m not vain vain. My siblings are always like,
“Hey! Let’s take a picture of ourselves!!” “Okay!!”
or
“Take a picture of me!”
or
“Let’s pretend we’re surprised!”
…So. Overdone.

Avril Lavigne unites the whole world!….
Blogroll, Schmlogroll
I just finished editing my blogroll section, which looked unsurprisingly fresh but pathetic along with the new blog atmosphere. I didn’t put in too much links this time as I would have done with my previous blog, since I don’t really think it’s that necessary now that the blogging-craze among my peers died down. The blogs I placed there in the list most likely belong to people whom I’m familiar with, and people who still update their blogs. If you think you should be there too, then go comment on this entry and explain why you’re worthy enough..
Oh yeah, I found out that PJ’s blog was the first (as far as I know) to link here instead of my previous blog; I actually find that cool! People actually know about this blog.. (ignores the fact that he has a hit counter; and that he linked Silver Seraph from polar barr)
I’m pretty sure I’ve missed out on a lot of other blogs to link, so feel free to tell me.. But then, I ultimately decide.
Initial
Finally, I created an entirely new blog — new title, new URL, new look, new atmosphere, (and capitalization!) in an entirely new blog hosting site. It feels refreshing to start over and dump the one-year old blog, although I must admit, I still do have second thoughts on completely abandoning it. Sure, it’s crappy and no one reads it anyway, but … I put a lot of words in it and probably even a few entries unworthy of deletion.
Why WordPress? Because I wanted people to read what I want them to read, and I wanted to keep private entries I would not want most readers to read (especially my family, hehehe). I want to have my own privacy when I needed it, so I chose WordPress instead of good old Blogger, Livejournal, Multiply, etc. I think I’ll be getting along very well with WordPress.
Frankly, I despise blog transfers (it’s becoming some kind of a fad among others) but since the current situation calls for one, and since my previous blog smelled like crap already, I had no choice but to transfer to a newer blog; I’m not doing this for the heck of it as most people I know seem to be. I’m hoping that this new blog wouldn’t receive too much publicity as I’m not begging for publicity. In fact, it’s quite the opposite that I would prefer… but having readers wouldn’t hurt, either.
The title “The Silver Seraph” refers to, …a silver seraph. In case you didn’t know, a seraph is a Biblical being creature somewhat superior to an angel (even though it does resemble an angel). As you may know, (or may not know) I have a fascination for angels and anything else related to the topic, and that is how I came up with the title. I didn’t want my title to be like “Broken Dreams” or something else that was obviously trying to sound profound and intelligent. Likewise, I didn’t want it to sound blatantly boring; it’s your problem if you find my title blatantly boring. Sonaten, on the other hand, is a musical piece composed of three movements, and is more popular known as a “sonata” instead of “sonaten.” I considered using “polarbarr” for the URL, but I thought that my blog would be too easy to find if I did that.
Since we’re almost turning from sophomores into juniors, I think it’s time for me to consider my options on my future course. A few people I know have already planned out their courses ever since first year, so I guess I’ll be deciding as well. A career fair’s bound to happen sometime in my third year life, although I don’t think it would be much help to most of us anyway..
I finally found videos of “Boys Be…” episodes 1-7 on the internet! AXN used to broadcast this anime around four years ago (before Sony created Animax); what can I say, I still love watching it… I wonder how I’m supposed to watch the remaining six episodes. I still plan on watching Deathnote, Blood+, Bleach and other anime shows that look promising, probably after I finish watching the 7th episode of Boys Be… .
It’s 10pm as I write this sentence, so I think I better sleep for now.
Happy birthday to Theia! 4/20/07
